Random Hymn Text

Thy brightness unto them appears, while I thy footsteps trace; a sound of God comes to my ears, but they behold thy face: I shall, I fear, be dark and cold, with all my fire and light; yet when thou dost accept their gold, Lord, treasure up my mite. (John Mason, 1646–1694)

Welcome, Guest.

danielfortune.org is much more than what you see here. It has several branches for the many aspects of my life. The site you are looking at now is my main music site for which a login is required. It contains free arrangements and compositions, from hymn descants to organ last-verse harmonizations, to hymn arrangements for organ/brass, and organ/strings. When you create a login here, all the music pages will be revealed.

I have other websites here, too. If you're part of the Fortune/Smith extended family, you'll probably be interested in two additional sites:

danielfortune.org/tng --> Fortune/Smith Genealogy

danielfortune.org/fpr --> A family site with more recent pictures and info

The two family sites require logins. At the tng genealogy site, anyone can make a login themselves, but if you are a family member and wish to have access to information for living persons, email me so I can give you that access. The fpr site requires a specific user name and password which I'm happy to give to any family member via email.

I also have my 1,700+ personal choral anthem database online here and I have other sites, too ... I gave a workshop on music and technology on July 5, 2010 in Washington, DC at the American Guild of Organists National Convention. Some of the information and links I used in that workshop are available to anyone by visiting agotech.org.

I hope you find something useful here ... stay tuned, though--there's bound to be more!
